On a sunny Tuesday afternoon noon I attended the COS AW16 Preview. Let me tell you all about it…
The Venue
The event took place in a magnificent private home on Camden Street, and this is the most fabulous house I’ve ever seen! The decor was so understated, an interior design enthusiasts dream. The pictures speak for themselves really.
The Clothes
Both the menswear and womenswear collections feature deep rich colours. Inspired by the paintings by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, it’s easy to feel you are wearing a work of art. Each piece jumped out at me for different reasons. The structure, the textures, the fabrics.
Womenswear pieces are playful and exaggerated. whereas Menswear explores the juxtaposition of prints and classic tailoring.
The Food
The event was catered for by CoCu, one of the newest healthy kids on the block. The menu at CoCu was designed by Executive Chef Emelia Rowan, and is centred around a three key criteria; Quality, Simplicity and Creativity. Very much like COS.
I can’t wait until the pieces hit the shops, even if it means Summer will have come and gone!
